My wife and I have been looking for a home in Florida for about 3 years but could find nothing that tripped our trigger. Our first inclination was to live in a community, however, with HOA costs and leasing fees which start small end up being very expensive in future years. We then decided to build a home outside of any community. And now the search was on for reputable contractor.
There are a lot of stories about contractors who take your money and disappear so we did as much investigating as possible. Through the internet, yellow pages, newspapers and word of mouth we found out who the local contractors were, finally we did a search thru the internet to find any information on there reputations and performance so that we could narrow the field. We also visited them at there sites. We finally narrowed the search down to Craftsmen Builders. My wife and I both got a good feeling the first time we visited them at there model site. On our return visit our good feelings were only heightened as we met the owners, Tony and Pam Bruscino. We soon after signed a contract and were on our way.
Construction started on time as promised. We were renting near by so we could go to the site each day to watch the construction progress. Tony is very meticulous when it comes to making sure each subcontractor is there when scheduled and that they are doing their job correctly.
Pam was very helpful as she has made several suggestions on cabinet color, paint color and lighting fixtures and kind of made sure everything worked together. Also there two younger offspring (Alex and Tony) helped at the job site by keeping the place clean. A true family affair. I hope at the end of this project our friendship will continue.

If you are in the market for building a new home, we would strongly recommend Craftsmen Builders. Recently Craftsmen Builders completed our house days before Christmas. We, like many other interested home buyers, "shopped" the area for what we considered the "best deal".

Our house, like many others, was destroyed in last spring's Palm Bay fires. We discovered that it is never a good time for your house to burn down. We were expecting our first child due June 8th. We also are restaurant owners, the red rooster cafe, both of us working 75-100 hours a week during the season. So, we lacked any "extra time" to spare. Also, our swimming pool survived the fire, which too many, would be a blessing in disguise... however, our house now became a "custom build" because a swimming pool was in he middle of our lot.

With our new addition on its way very soon, we had to make a lot of big decisions and quickly. Tony & Pam, like us, created a family run business which makes a huge difference --- the personal attention & dedication a lot of larger companies lack. We never felt like a "number".
We were fortunate that the housing market was not extremely busy. And due to our work schedules we were unable to leave like most. Tony & Pam (actually the whole family) made numerous trips to our restaurant to sign contracts, go over plans, and everything else that was entailed with building a house. I always said that if Tony wasn’t bald already, he would be after dealing with my husband, Steve. Not that Steve was "difficult" in manner but he was extremely thorough. We must have had a hundred change orders, which not only takes patients and organization, they must and were all done correctly.

Needless to say, we are very pleased with the work of Craftsmen Builders. Our house start to finish took four months. We were so fortunate to be in our new house on December 22nd, just in time for Xmas.
